Whilst the EuroMillions jackpot winner was the player with the most to celebrate last night, there were plenty of consolation prizes landed too. Five tickets won their owners a hefty second tier prize worth £269,069 (€376,512) each by matching all five main numbers and one Lucky Star number, and another two tickets matched the five main numbers only to win £224,225 (€313,760) each. The total number of prizes won was 2,794,882, and the full breakdown of how those prizes were distributed across the various tiers can be found by visiting the EuroMIllions Results page at Euro-Millions.com.
Irish Lottery players haven’t been having much luck in the Friday night EuroMillions Plus game in recent weeks, and the dry spell continued last night because no player matched all five of the numbers that were drawn. A second tier prize of €2,000 was won by each of 58 tickets that matched four numbers, and a smaller third tier prize of €20 went to each of 2,499 tickets that matched three numbers. There will be another chance for EuroMillions Plus players to win a top prize of €500,000 in the next game on Tuesday.
The EuroJackpot numbers last night were 09, 31, 32, 33 and 34, with 06 and 08 being drawn as the all-important Euro numbers. The appearance of four consecutive main numbers didn't help anyone to win the €19 million jackpot last night, but three tickets won their owners €158,256 each by matching all five main numbers and both of the Euro numbers. One ticket won €123,439 by matching five main numbers only, and the total number of prizes landed was 404,526. The next EuroJackpot game will offer a top prize of €23 million.
