While the jackpot eluded players on Friday 1st August, the first EuroMillions draw of the month saw over 1.8 million ticket holders pick up a cash prize of some kind. There were six ticket holders who picked up £163,443 (€226,316) each when they matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star, while an additional 14 players matched five main numbers and won £23,349 (€32,330) each. Another 41 players snapped up £3,986 (€5,519) each when they matched four main numbers and two Lucky Stars. The remaining players won amounts between £3.50 (€4.90) for matching two main numbers and £151.10 (€209.30) for matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star.
When it comes to EuroMillions jackpots, the Spanish have been wildly successful in 2014, with seven jackpot winners. There have been two EuroMillions jackpot winners from the UK, including Neil Trotter, who scooped an amazing £107 million in the draw held on Friday 14th March.
