In the same draw, 240 players came within just one number of scooping the top prize with three matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £39,233 each and 237 matching five main numbers to win £421 each.
In the final two tiers, 11,043 ticket holders matched four main numbers to win £47 each and 182,190 players matched three main numbers to win £25 each. The additional Lotto Raffle saw 50 players win prizes of £20,000 each - the winning codes from the additional draw can be found on Lottery.co.uk.
The next UK Lotto draw takes place on Saturday and boasts a brand new jackpot worth an estimated £4.3 million. Tickets for the draw can be purchased online or in in person but if you can’t wait until Saturday, there are a number of other lotteries taking place before then.
On Friday, the EuroMillions draw is giving players the chance to compete for a £48 million (€59 million) jackpot while on the opposite side of the Atlantic, the US multi-state lottery Mega Millions is offering up a US$15 million top prize.
