EuroJackpot
08 – 09 – 33 – 34 – 36 Euro Numbers: 03 and 09
The EuroJackpot lottery jackpot had rolled over in each of the five draws leading up to the most recent one on Christmas Day, and that pattern continued thanks to no ticket matching all seven numbers. On a brighter note, each of three tickets that matched the five main numbers plus one of the Euro numbers won a second tier prize worth €481,507, whilst another three tickets matched five main numbers only to win €169,943 each. There were more than 692,000 winning tickets at the lower levels, and there will now be a jackpot of around €48 million for players to pursue in the next EuroJackpot game on Friday 1st January.
EuroMillions
03 – 10 – 25 – 27 – 40 Lucky Stars: 03 and 09
As always, there were just five main numbers and two Lucky Star numbers standing between lottery players and the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday, but no player managed to match all of those numbers, and so the top prize rolled over. Seven tickets matched all five main numbers plus one Lucky Star to win £160,728 (€212,037) each at the second tier, and seven more tickets won £53,576 (€70,679) each by matching the five main numbers only. The total number of consolation prizes landed on Friday exceeded 2.66 million, and the jackpot in the next game on Tuesday 29 December will be worth an estimated £23 million (€31 million).
Mega Millions
15 – 25 – 29 – 44 – 51 Mega Ball: 04
No Mega Millions player was able to match all of the numbers drawn in Friday’s game, so the jackpot eluded participants once again. There were no winners at the second tier either, but 28 tickets managed to win their owners $5,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Mega Ball number. There were over 1.34 million winners at the lower levels, and players will have an advertised jackpot of $117 million to play for in the next game on Tuesday.
Powerball
27 – 40 – 44 – 59 – 65 Powerball: 20
As we said earlier, the Powerball game offered the biggest jackpot of the last few days, with the top prize having an advertised value of $255 million. No player won that prize, and no player was able to match all five main numbers, so the biggest winners were found at the third tier, where 20 tickets won $50,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Powerball. There were more than 843,000 prizes landed by standard entries, and Power Play entries won over 159,000 prizes. The jackpot in the next game on Wednesday 30 December will now be worth an estimated $300 million.
UK Lotto
17 – 21 – 31 – 38 – 44 – 58 Bonus Ball: 20
UK Lotto players have to look way back to the middle of November to find the most recent jackpot winner, because the top prize rolled over for the twelfth draw in a row last night. There were no second tier prize winners, but 89 tickets won £1,351 each by matching five main numbers only, and more than 1.78 million tickets won smaller consolation prizes. The Lotto Millionaire Raffle game created five winners of £1 million each, and there were 20 Lotto Raffle winners of £20,000 each. The next game on Wednesday will now offer a jackpot worth around £42.2 million.
