Although the jackpot rolled over, there were six life-changing prizes of £200,043 (€278,515) won at the second tier by tickets that matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers. Another 12 tickets matched the five main numbers only to win £33,340 (€46,419) each, and 73 entries matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £2,740 (€3,815) each. All other winners in the game won smaller prizes, and you can see the complete schedule of sums won for each prize level by visiting the EuroMillions Results page at Euro-Millions.com.
It has been several weeks since the last time anyone won €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus game in Ireland, but that’s exactly what happened last night because one ticket matched all five of the numbers. Another 50 tickets matched four numbers to win a second tier prize of €2,000 each, and the smallest prize of €20 was won by each of 2,123 tickets that matched three numbers.
The top prize in the EuroJackpot lottery game last night had a final value of €61,170,752, and we are delighted to report that a single ticket that had been purchased in Finland matched all of the numbers required to win that sum. The EuroJackpot results responsible for this success were 02, 09, 17, 25 and 29, and the Euro numbers were 03 and 05. The jackpot winner was obviously the player with the biggest reason to celebrate this week, but over 1.39 million consolation prizes were also landed, including nine prizes of €137,166 each at the second tier. The next EuroJackpot game on Friday 19th September will now offer a brand new jackpot worth €10 million.
