Whilst the owner of the jackpot-winning Portuguese ticket was the luckiest EuroMillions player of all last night, more than 2.38 million other players managed to win themselves more modest prizes by matching two main numbers or more. Seven tickets matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers to win £154,144 (€213,747) each at the second tier prize level, and there were eleven tickets that won £32,697 (€45,340) each by matching five main numbers only.
Another 54 tickets matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £3,330 (€4,617) each, and all other winning tickets won smaller prizes at the lower levels. The next EuroMillions game on Tuesday 24 June will offer a new jackpot worth around £11 million (€15 million guaranteed). The complete breakdown of prizes won last night can be found by visiting the EuroMillions Results page at Euro-Millions.com.
EuroMillions Plus players can always look forward to a chance of winning a top prize of €500,000 no matter what happens in the main EuroMillions game itself. There were no tickets that matched all five numbers required to win that top prize last night, but 48 tickets matched four main numbers to win a second tier prize of €2,000 each. Another 2,100 tickets won €20 each by matching three numbers.
In the EuroJackpot game, one ticket that had been purchased in Germany won the jackpot, giving the lucky player concerned the impressive sum of €19,318,051. The numbers which made that win possible were 06, 10, 23, 33 and 41, along with the Euro numbers 06 and 08. The second tier prize saw three tickets win €290,945 each by matching the five main numbers and one Euro number, and another three tickets won €75,646 each by matching five main numbers only. More than 421,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers, and the next EuroJackpot game on Friday 27 June will offer a new jackpot worth €10 million.
