For the sixth draw in a row, no ticket holder was able to match the jackpot winning numbers and so the jackpot increases to €71 / £58 million for Friday’s draw. Five ticket holders came close to winning the jackpot when they matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star but failed to match the second Lucky Star. However, by matching six out of the seven numbers drawn, the ticket holders did each win €241,803 / £169,309.
A further five ticket holders matched all five main numbers to each win €80,601 / £56,436 while 31 players matched four main numbers and two Lucky Stars to win €6,500 / £4,551. Prizes in the remaining tiers ranged from €248 / £173 for matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star to €4.40 / £3.00 for matching just two main numbers.

The US Mega Millions jackpot is now worth US$84 million after players in last night’s draw failed to match all five main numbers and the Mega Ball drawn. Unusually this is the second draw in a row where there were there were also no winners in the Match 5 tier, making Match 4 plus Mega Ball the first winning prize tier. There were 25 ticket holders in this tier, each winning US$5,000.
