The current jackpot started its current rollover spree on Friday 2nd May and has since notched up 11 successive draws without a top tier winner. As a result, tonight’s jackpot is the largest seen in EuroMillions since 25th June 2013 when a colossal top prize of £159 million (€187 million) was shared between one ticket holder from the Province of Limburg, Belgium and another from Dublin, Ireland.
Although the jackpot has some way to go before it enters the record books, it is currently in fifth position on the list of biggest EuroMillions jackpots ever. First place goes to the €190 million jackpot won by UK players Adrian and Gillian Bayford on 10th August 2012. Remarkably, UK players are also in second place as Chris and Colin Weir from Scotland scooped €185 million in July 2011.
