Exactly one week after a single player scooped the top prize of £100,000 in the Health Lottery game, participants were hopeful that the feat might be repeated. Unfortunately the Saturday draw this week wasn’t quite as accommodating, but more than 9,000 tickets won consolation prizes of up to £10,000 each. The next Health Lottery draw will take place on Wednesday.

The Powerball jackpot continued to elude players last night, with no ticket succeeding in taking down the $159 million that was up for grabs. Four tickets made each of their owners $1 million richer by matching the five main numbers only, and another 34 tickets won $10,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Powerball number. There were more than 516,000 prizes won by standard entries, and over 110,000 additional prizes were won by Power Play entries. The next Powerball game will offer a jackpot of around $178 million.

There was an extra special jackpot of AUD$21 million on offer in the Australian Saturday Lotto game this week, and we are delighted to confirm that 12 tickets matched the six main numbers, giving each winning player an equal share worth AUD$1,500,000.
