Irish Lottery fans were playing for a jackpot with a final value of just over €2.52 million last night, and they will be playing for even more after no ticket proved able to win that sum. There was one ticket that won €25,000 by matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number, whilst the third tier saw 33 tickets win their owners €1,872 each by matching five main numbers only. More than 31,000 tickets matched fewer numbers to win smaller prizes, and players in the next game on Wednesday will now be able to pursue a jackpot of around €3 million.

SuperEnalotto players had a jackpot worth €17.7 million to try and win last night, but sadly none of the entrants were able to match all six main numbers needed to win that prize. No player won a second tier prize either, but nine players matched five main numbers to secure a third tier prize of €25,613 each. Over 36,000 tickets won smaller prizes, and prizes were also won by more than 49,000 SuperStar entries. The next SuperEnalotto game on Tuesday will now offer a multi-rollover jackpot worth €18.1 million.

As we said at the head of this news item, one Powerball ticket matched all six of the numbers drawn last night to land a jackpot worth $80 million, and we can tell you that the successful ticket had been purchased in Florida. Another single ticket matched five main numbers only to win its owner $1 million, and 19 tickets won $10,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Powerball. Over 336,000 tickets won smaller consolation prizes by matching fewer numbers, and more than 83,000 Power Play entries also won prizes.
