What is the Lotto Millionaire Raffle?
The Lotto Millionaire Raffle is a supplementary draw which takes place every Wednesday and Saturday after each UK Lotto draw. Included in the price of a ticket, this raffle-style game presents ticket holders with one unique alphanumeric code for every line of Lotto numbers played.
Following each main Lotto draw, a second draw is conducted, out of which appear 21 individual codes. The first code draw wins a £1 million prize, while the remaining 20 winners profit to the tune of £20,000.
Head to the Lotto Millionaire Raffle page for more information on how the game works.
Why is the Lotto Christmas Raffle Taking Place?
Occasionally, the Lotto Millionaire Raffle helps to celebrate a special event or significant date in the calendar by offering even more players the chance to win big. An example of this came in 2015, when an additional ten millionaires were created to coincide with the launch of the tenth series of Britain’s Got Talent, which was sponsored by Lotto.
To mark the arrival of Christmas in 2017, the game will offer an extra 200 prizes of £20,000. This means that, on the night of the draw, there will be 221 guaranteed rewards to play for and a prize pot totalling £5.4 million in addition to the millions on offer in the main game.
When Will the Lotto Christmas Raffle Take Place?
The Lotto Christmas Raffle will take place on Saturday 23rd December 2017 and successful participants will have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim any prizes won.
In the Meantime
