The jackpot in the EuroMillions game had rolled over in each of the three draws leading up to Friday’s game, and that sequence of rollovers continued thanks to no player being able to match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars. There were five tickets that matched the five main numbers plus one Lucky Star to win £249,490 (€322,434) each at the second tier, and a dozen entries won £34,651 (€44,782) each by matching five main numbers only. The total number of prizes won exceeded 2.93 million, and there will now be a jackpot of around £36 million (around €51 million) for players to get excited about on Tuesday 8th December.

There were more than 567,000 prizes won by standard Powerball entries, and over 136,000 Power Play entries also won prizes for their owners. The jackpot in the next game this Wednesday 9th December will be worth an advertised $147 million.
