EuroJackpot
11 – 19 – 27 – 32 – 42 Euro Numbers: 05 and 09
The top prize in the EuroJackpot game this week was worth €31 million, but none of the tickets entered for the game was able to match all of the numbers needed to win it. The good news is that three tickets matched all five main numbers and one of the Euro numbers to win €451,426 each, and twice as many players won €79,663 each by matching the five main numbers only. The total number of consolation prizes that were won exceeded 691,000, and the top prize in the next EuroJackpot game on Friday 25th December will be worth an estimated €40 million.
EuroMillions
06 – 22 – 26 – 29 – 48 Lucky Stars: 05 and 06
EuroMillions players were pursuing a jackpot worth £60,657,149 (€83,228,800) on Friday, and we are delighted to confirm that one ticket purchased in Spain managed to win that sum. Four tickets landed their owners a second tier prize of £349,463 (€457,291) by matching the five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Stars, and nine other entries matched five main numbers only to win £51,772 (€67,747) each. There were more than 2.94 million prizes won across the lower levels, and the EuroMillions game will now offer a brand new jackpot of around £10 million (€15 million) in the next draw on Tuesday 22 December.
Mega Millions
06 – 23 – 24 – 28 – 62 Mega Ball: 07
The Mega Millions game offered a whopping $85 million to its fans in its latest draw, but once again the jackpot proved a little too difficult to win. There were two tickets that won $1 million each by matching the five main numbers without the Mega Ball, and those had been purchased in California and Kansas. A prize of $5,000 went to each of 31 tickets that managed to match four main numbers with the Mega Ball, and more than 1.39 million entries won smaller prizes. The next game on Tuesday will now offer a Mega Millions jackpot with an advertised value of $94 million.
Powerball
28 – 30 – 41 – 59 – 68 Powerball: 10
The biggest lottery jackpot offered over the last few days was in the Powerball game, where the top prize was worth an advertised $202 million. That jackpot wasn’t landed, but one player became $1 million richer by matching all five main numbers, and 20 tickets won $100,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Powerball. There were over 785,000 smaller consolations won by standard Powerball entries, and more than 158,000 Power Play entries also won prizes. The jackpot in the next game on Wednesday 23 December will now be worth an estimated $227 million.
UK Lotto
13 – 14 – 27 – 46 – 48 – 50 Bonus Ball: 42
The UK Lotto jackpot rolled over for the tenth game in a row on Saturday night, so the next game on Wednesday will offer a jackpot worth around £35.1 million. If a single ticket were to win that sum, the lucky owner would become the biggest Lotto winner since the game was launched in 1994. Players will naturally be very keen to set that record, but in the meantime celebrations are already in order for the winners of more than 1.74 million consolation prizes that were landed last Saturday. The biggest of those was worth £116,854, and that was won by a single ticket matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. The Lotto Millionaire Raffle number, which was worth £1 million to the player who matched it, was BLUE 9300 4543.
