Although there were no jackpot winners in Tuesday’s draw, players in the remaining prize tiers matched the winning combination with various degrees of success, resulting in over 1.9 million prizes. The first winning prize tier was Match 5 and one Lucky star where five ticket holders each picked up €241,803 / £169,309.
Tonight’s jackpot is the result of the previous six draws failing to produce a jackpot winner. The last time the EuroMillions jackpot was won was on Tuesday 7th January when one ticket holder from France and another from Spain both matched all seven numbers drawn to share the jackpot worth €130 / £108 million.
This evening’s draw is the final one of this month and with the jackpot only having been won once so far this year, it will be interesting to see if any ticket holder can strike it lucky tonight and become 2014’s second EuroMillions jackpot winner.
