EuroJackpot
02 – 05 – 10 – 13 – 28 Euro Numbers: 03 and 10
A jackpot of €40 million was the prize on offer for any player who could match all seven numbers in Friday’s EuroJackpot game, and the next game will offer even more because no player was able to do that. There were eight lucky tickets that won €198,145 each by matching all five main numbers as well as one of the Euro numbers, and another twelve entries matched the five main numbers only to win a third tier prize worth €46,622 each. The total number of prizes won across all tiers was in excess of 739,000, and the estimated value of the jackpot for the next draw on Friday 11th March is €50 million.
EuroMillions
09 – 14 – 16 – 23 – 40 Lucky Stars: 01 and 05
EuroMillions players were pursuing a rollover jackpot worth £19 million (€25 million) in the latest game, but no ticket managed to match all of the numbers that were required to win it. Four tickets matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to secure a second tier prize worth £277,165 (€379,009) each, and another three won €168,448 each by matching the five main numbers only. There were 70 tickets that matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £2,639 (€3,610) each, and more than 2.58 million smaller prizes were won at the lower levels. There will now be a jackpot of around £24 million (€31 million) for players to try and win in the next game on Tuesday 8th March.
Mega Millions
21 – 26 – 33 – 48 – 73 Mega Ball: 14
The Friday night Mega Millions game boasted an advertised jackpot worth $144 million, but once again the task of matching all six of the numbers drawn proved just a tad too difficult for anyone to succeed. The good news is that a single ticket missed out by just the Mega Ball number, and the owner of that ticket can now claim a second tier prize worth $1 million. The third tier saw 29 tickets match four main numbers to win $5,000 each, and over 1.42 million tickets won lesser sums. Mega Millions players can now look forward to playing for a jackpot worth around $157 million in the next game on Tuesday.
Powerball
03 – 27 – 34 – 59 – 69 Powerball: 19
Powerball players were six numbers away from landing a guaranteed jackpot of $40 million on Saturday, but no player was able to match all of those numbers. No player matched the five main numbers only either, but two tickets won $50,000 each by matching four main numbers as well as the Powerball. As usual, plenty of more modest amounts were won by tickets matching fewer numbers, and there will be a jackpot of $50 million for players to try and win in the next game on Wednesday 9th March.
UK Lotto
11 – 19 – 29 – 37 – 40 – 41 Bonus Ball: 47
No player won the £12.3 million triple rollover jackpot in the Saturday night UK Lotto game, but four tickets won £24,555 each by matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number. There were 116 tickets that won £891 each at the third tier by matching five main numbers only, and more than 1.65 million entries won smaller prizes across the lower levels. In addition, a single player won £1 million by matching the Lotto Millionaire Raffle number GOLD 0925 2512, and 20 players each won a Lotto Raffle prize worth £20,000. There will now be a quadruple jackpot of around £14.5 million up for grabs in the next game on Wednesday.
