EuroJackpot
11 – 12 – 26 – 28 – 37 Euro Numbers: 08 and 10
The EuroJackpot lottery this week offered a top prize of €23 million, and the next game will offer even more because none of the tickets entered for the game proved able to match all seven of the numbers that were drawn. No ticket won a second tier prize either, but six tickets matched the five main numbers only to win a third tier prize worth €67,265 each. Another 26 entries won €5,174 each by matching four main numbers and both Euro numbers, and more than 473,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. The next game on Friday 17th June will now offer a jackpot worth an estimated €28 million.
EuroMillions
14 – 21 – 35 – 42 – 43 Lucky Stars: 07 and 09
Eight consecutive rollovers helped the EuroMillions jackpot to reach a final value of €85,076,371 (£67,227,348), and we are pleased to report that one ticket matched all of the numbers needed to win that sum. The winning ticket had been sold in Spain, giving the nation its 77th jackpot success since the game began. Three tickets (which had been purchased in France, Spain and Portugal) won €601,952 each by matching the five main numbers and one Lucky Star, and seven other entries won €85,993 each by matching the five main numbers only. There were more than 2.79 million prizes landed in total, and there will now be a brand new jackpot of €15 million (around £11 million) for players to pursue in the next game on Tuesday 14th June.
Mega Millions
34 – 61 – 66 – 67 – 68 Mega Ball: 07
As we said at the head of this news item, the Mega Millions game on Friday boasted the biggest jackpot of all in recent days, but no player succeeded in winning the $280 million that was available. The good news is that three tickets matched all five main numbers to win each of their owners $1 million, and at the third tier there were 47 tickets which won $5,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Mega Ball number. There were 586 winners of $500 each at the fourth tier, and the total number of prizes won exceeded 2.59 million. The next game on Tuesday will now offer an advertised jackpot of around $293 million.
Powerball
20 – 27 – 36 – 41 – 58 Powerball: 07
The Powerball jackpot weighed in at slightly less than advertised, with a final value of $137.6 million. None of the tickets entered for the game could match all of the numbers that were required to land that prize, but two players won $1 million each by matching the five main numbers only, and another ten players won $50,000 each by matching four main numbers and the Powerball number. There were more than 572,000 prizes won across the lower tiers, and over 152,000 prizes were also won by successful Power Play entries. There will now be a jackpot of around $153 million for players to try and win in the next game on Wednesday 15th June.
UK Lotto
04 – 17 – 30 – 38 – 47 – 55 Bonus Ball: 03
UK Lotto players were hoping to end a streak of six consecutive rollovers and win a jackpot worth £19.62 million on Saturday night, but none of them succeeded. A single ticket matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second tier prize worth £90,399, and at the third tier there were 65 tickets that won £1,463 each by matching five main numbers only. The total number of prizes won was in excess of 1.4 million, and the Lotto Millionaire Raffle number PLUM 7431 2828 made one lucky player £1 million richer than they were before the game. The jackpot in the next game on Wednesday will now be worth around £20.9 million.
